When Will Your Board Release the Class 10, 12 Date Sheet?

Most state boards release their Class 10 and 12 date sheets between November and January, for exams held from February through April. If you’re checking in August and there’s no timetable yet, that’s completely normal — boards are still finishing syllabus coverage, registrations, and exam centre planning. This guide covers the release pattern of the four boards most CrissCross Classes students follow — BSEB (Bihar), UP Board (UPMSP), RBSE (Rajasthan) and MPBSE (MP) — plus a quick look at five more state boards, so you know exactly when to start checking.

BSEB — Bihar Board

Bihar Board (BSEB) is consistently one of the earliest boards to release its date sheet each year. Last cycle, the timetable came out on 29 November 2025. Under that schedule, Class 12 (Intermediate) exams ran from 2 to 13 February 2026, while Class 10 (Matric) exams ran from 17 to 25 February 2026. The PDF is published on biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. Going by this pattern, the next date sheet is likely to appear again around November-December.

UP Board (UPMSP)

The UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) typically releases its date sheet in early November. Last cycle it was published on 5 November 2025, with exams running from 18 February to 12 March 2026 — one of the longest board schedules in the country given the sheer number of candidates. The timetable is published on upmsp.edu.in, with papers held across two daily shifts (8:30-11:45 am and 2:00-5:15 pm).

RBSE — Rajasthan Board

The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE), Ajmer, usually releases its date sheet in mid-to-late December. Last cycle it came out on 19 December 2025. Class 10 exams ran from 12 to 28 February 2026, and Class 12 exams ran from 12 February to 11 March 2026. Check rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in for the official PDF when it’s due.

MPBSE — Madhya Pradesh Board

MPBSE stands out for releasing an early draft timetable well ahead of other boards — often in August — and then revising it more than once as the session progresses. Last cycle, the initial date sheet appeared on 13 August 2025, followed by revisions on 27 October 2025 and 9 January 2026. Under the final schedule, Class 12 exams ran from 10 February to 7 March 2026, and Class 10 exams ran from 13 February to 6 March 2026. MP Board students should keep an eye out not just for the first release but for revised versions too, all posted on mpbse.nic.in.

What to Do While You Wait

Rather than refreshing your board’s website every day in August, put the wait to good use:

  • Build a realistic syllabus-completion timeline so your full course is nearly done by the time the date sheet lands.
  • Bookmark your board’s official website and check it once or twice a month, stepping up around the release window listed above.
  • Start working through previous years’ papers and sample papers to get familiar with the exam pattern.
  • Ignore “leaked” dates circulating on unofficial pages or forwarded messages — treat only your board’s official website or notification as final.

The date sheet is just a schedule — your real preparation starts with the daily work you put in right now. Use this time well, and the rest will fall into place on its own. Keep going, you’ve got this!
